Year 2 Camp Post 1

We are just getting ready for bed so I have a moment to tell you what we have been doing…

The rain came briefly so we came inside, but it hasn’t dampened our fun. Carn Euny was fabulous (“One of the best trips ever” Ethan said), and we learnt a great deal about the Iron Age and Stone Age with the help of pupils from Penryn College. It was lovely to explore west Penwith with them too, with it’s myriad of flora and fauna – thanks to Cornwall Heritage Trust for funding the coach.

I have never seen a group of children demolish their assorted pasties and sausage rolls more quickly. We played lots of games on the field, enjoyed the disco and finished the god’s eyes that they started earlier today. Now they are having stories and sharing our best moments of the day.

The children have been brilliant! They are a credit to the parents and the school. They are thoroughly ready for bed and so are Mrs Savage, Mrs Puxley, Mrs Moyle and myself. Goodnight!
