Super Snow 21 Jan 2013

Today we had a light covering of snow, so in Lerryn Class we decided to make the most of it and get outside as early as possible!!

In the first session we did a science experiment to find out where snow melts the quickest. We all made a prediction and then carried out our own mini experiement. We found that snow melted the quickest on the radiator and slowest in the freezer.

After our experiment, as a class, we managed to make one huge snowman. We then decided to remove the head and in turn, we stood behind the body and put our head on top. This inspired us to do some creative writing ‘The Day I Became a Snowman’. The children loved it and produced some amazing writing.

Another wonderful day at Constantine Primary School.
