Are jellyfish fish?

Kenwyn Class know they are not as they are invertebrates with no bones at all. In fact they have no blood, brains, eyes, ears or hearts! They do however have a mouth. They have been on Earth way longer than us and even before the dinosaurs!

Our obsession with these beautiful living things came about as Mrs G was embarking on a RNLI charity swim, 1.5 miles around St Michaels Mount. Her fear of jellyfish nearly got the better of her until she set the challenge to Y4 to convince how wonderful they are. They succeeded (and so did Mrs G).
