Geology: the lost science? 21 Nov 2013

I wish that I knew more about rocks. They teach us so much about the world around us, and it is no surprise that some people call it the lost, or the fourth, science. Fortunately many people in Constantine who do know their rocks, and two of them are Governors of our school and came in to fascinate Kenwyn class about copper, quartz, fossils and forces. We will use the visit and the amazing samples that Dr Duncan Pirrie and Dr Adrian Roberts left with us for the next few weeks in Literacy and Art.
Please come and hold them for yourselves in class if you would like to!
And just wait I until the moon rocks come to visit…
