Religious Education

In RE we follow the Cornwall Agreed Syllabus 2020-25. The principal aim of religious education is to explore what people believe and what difference this makes to how they live, so that pupils can gain the knowledge, understanding and skills needed to handle questions raised by religion and belief, reflecting on their own ideas and ways of living.

Children learn about a range of religions in a variety of ways and where possible we try to invite visitors to our school. Through RE we also provide children with the opportunity to further explore British Values and PSHE ideas. The children discuss current affairs and learn about tolerance, inclusion and respect for other races, religions and beliefs.

Have a look at our photos below. We particularly enjoyed holding our very own wedding ceremony!
