Constantine School Celebrates Jubilee in Fine Style 13 Jun 2012
What a marvellous day we all had on Friday 1st June to celebrate the Jubilee.
Firstly, we went to the church in our Sunday best for a ‘mock coronation’. Everyone was there, from the Arch Bishop of Canterbury, to the Queen herself.
After that it was off back to school for a right Royal tea party. The PTAhead worked so hard while we were at church to make it a huge success. Once full up of coronation chicken sandwiches and scones, we played a variety of games on the school field including croquet and tug-of-war.
To top off the afternoon, we let off hundreds of red, white and blue balloons in a balloon race.
Thank you to everyone who helped to make our special afternoon so memorable.
