Beach Safety 6 May 2014

Here at Constantine School we know how lucky we all are to live so close to the sea, in a county that is virtually surrounded by water. This means we must learn to be safe on the beach and near open water as well as in swimming pools. Our local beach lifeguards from Poldhu Beach came in to remind us about the dangers, flags, signals and procedures we must know so we are safe beach users.
Can you read the sea conditions? Do you know our beach flags? Would you know what to do if you saw someone in difficulty? By learning with the people who we recognise, we hope to remember all we were told in order to stay safe and keep others safe and happy on the beach.
