A pair of rugby tickets is helping Constantine School raise money as part of their annual fundraising drive.

The tickets, which are being raffled, are for the England v Ireland Six Nations Rugby match on 17th March 2018 at Twickenham.

The raffle, which is raising money to help the school to buy a minibus, will be drawn on Friday 2nd February.

The sporty prize is apt for the School which was recently shortlisted for the Cornwall Sport Award’s ‘Primary School of the year’.

“Everyone has worked hard on improving physical fitness and wellbeing throughout the school. Last year every single child in KS 2 represented the school at a sporting event off site and every child took part in at least four whole school events where they all had to get involved. These included a visit from Plymouth Argyle and the Premiership Trophy, BHF dodgeball, sports day and Olympic Athlete day.” Caroline Gilbert, Assistant Headteacher

Other prizes in the raffle include lunch at The Gurnard’s Head, tickets to Flambards and Wheal Martyn and a John Lewis food hamper.

“We’re really grateful to all the businesses who have donated prizes for our raffle. Support from businesses and the community is vital to our school and helps us raise the money needed to help with class trips andresources.” Caroline Gilbert

Tickets, which cost just £1 each, are available to buy until Thursday 1st Feb 2018. Anyone interested in *try-ing* their luck can buy a ticket from Constantine School, Constantine Social Club and The Queen’s Arms pub in Constantine or email
