Trevithick trains 19 Apr 2015

We had a brilliant week in history learning about the genius of Richard Trevithick. The children loved assembling chassis, sawing axles, punching holes in wheels, creating iron cylinders for the boiler and decorating it to show power and speed. We are all inspired by him and his passion. We also used an app called skitch to show our learning about why Trevithick is a significant historical character.

See you at Trevithick Day in Camborne on 25th April!

And thanks to Jon Davey for the great idea for the model. We managed to make ours from mostly reused materials.
