The unusual double Literacy lesson 18 Apr 2012

Yesterday was unusual because we did two Maths lessons so today is freakish aswell. The main part was that we chose a question. Me and Lucas chose ‘Why do giraffes have long necks?’. We made a video explaining that giraffes necks grow very long to reach the tall trees and eat the leaves.

I enjoyed filming and remebering the facts that we learnt about giraffes in the Africa topic. One of the interesting facts is why giraffes have protective tounges so that stinging nettles and brambles don’t hurt them.
