The Great Fire of London 3 Dec 2012

The children in Cober were set a homework task to make a model of a timber framed house which would have been in London in 1666, when the Great Fire started. The finished houses have made a wonderful feature and display in the classroom and were all proudly showed in assembly on Friday. Some children chose to write  a diary entry, like Samuel Pepys. These will be featured on the display too. We have added the River Thames and some boats with escaping Londoners.
