Tamar’s Woodland Walk 11 May 2017

What a lovely morning we had yesterday in our village’s beautiful bluebell woods. We walked from school to the woods and took some time to identify and learn about the multitude of hedgerow plants and flowers that abound at this time of year.

At the entrance of the wood by the quarry we stopped awhile and thought poetically about the sights, sounds and feelings that we had experienced and we wrote and shared some poetic lines.

The bluebells were magnificient and after walking through the wood we stopped by the bridge to experience a couple of minutes of silence, listening and contemplation.
