We had a great educational visit to Roskilly’s farm today. Toby Roskilly gave us a fascinating tour of the ice cream factory and we learned about how the business has grown since it was established in the 70s.
We even went into the blast chiller where it was minus 25 degrees! It was so cold and we tried to imagine what it have been like for Shackleton’s crew to have been stranded in sub zero temperatures for nearly a year.
To round off a great morning we were all treated to a delicious organic Roskilly’s ice. This should really inspire us to design and make some terrific ice creams.
