Surf Camp 2011 19 Jul 2011

Forty three children from years 4-6 went to Treyarnon Bay Youth Hostel for 5 days and 4 nights for this years annual residential camp. They all had a fabulous time and took part in the following activities: Coastal walking, Padstow Lifeboat Station visit, talk and tour, kyaking, surfing, beach games, surf lifesaving, coasteering, paddle boarding, swimming, orienteering and crazy golf! The Youth Hostel must be one of the best in terms of location, situated above the bay with a magnificent view and surroundings. The children were sharing rooms which each had 2 – 8 beds in them with some being en-suite! Room inspections were a daily occurance and standards got higher as the week went on.impressively the new, Year 4 campers were the tidiest. However, this year all those who were inspecting rooms were most impressed with treats being left; especially the homemade biscuits and jelly beans along with lovely messages and even video clips of the occupants from some rooms singing to us! We have a huge number of photos and will be making a DVD and CD for all those who would like one. Until we gather ALL of the photos and footage from the various cameras here are a few pics for you.
