Walter Berry is a non-directive trainee play therapist now is his second year of the Diploma. He is also a qualified Person-Centred  Counsellor who has worked as a school counsellor and has a private practice ‘Living2Play’ (www.living2play.co.uk).

Play therapy is defined as a dynamic interpersonal relationship between a child. A therapist trained in play therapy provides play materials and facilitates the development of a safe relationship for the child to fully express and explore their feelings, thoughts, experiences, and behaviours through the child’s natural medium of communication – play.

Walter is a member of PTUK (Play Therapy United Kingdom) and can be found on the Register of Play and Creative Arts Therapists www.playtherapyregister.org.uk

He sets up in the school library once a week and is happy to meet with parents who may be looking to support their children. Please arrange a meeting through Mr Anjari, SENDCo, by seeing him in school or emailing Joher.Anjari@tlat.org.uk.
