we are looking at health and fitness as part of our topic this term and we started by testing our reaction rates. First we dropped a ball 1m in front of our partners then gradually made the distance further. We had to try and catch the ball after one bounce or before it bounced at all. Then, when we improved we turned around and also had no warning that the ball was going to be dropped. It was great fun and the children came up with all kinds of adaptions to this activity -making it much harder usually!
