Pasty day in Kenwyn and Tamar 17 Jul 2014

Our DT topic this term is Cornwall, so who better to show us how to prepare our national dish than the team at Ann’s Pasties. Pasty King Dylan arrived in the morning, and layered up a beast of swede, onion, steak and potato, that few believed he could crimp. But of course he did, and then helped the rest of us do the same.

Once the pasties were baked, Ann herself came to judge the finish products. The highest accolade was that any of our products would grace the shelves at her shops, but the winner was Daisy Rundell with a real beauty.

Huge thanks to Ann and Dylan for there generosity, and I am feeling like a bit of bellytimber so am off to find if there are any leftover…!
