Safeguarding

Keeping children safe is central to all that we do and all that we believe at Constantine Primary School.

Keeping children safe is everyone’s responsibility.

The Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) at Constantine Primary School is the person who has been appointed to take lead responsibility for child protection concerns.

The Designated Safeguarding Lead:

  • ensures that safeguarding is at the heart of the school ethos and that all staff are supported in knowing how to recognise and respond to potential concerns.
  • liaise with parents and staff on matters of safety and safeguarding.
  • liaise with other other agencies and make referrals if needed.
  • act as a source of advice, support and expertise for parents and staff.

The Designated Safeguarding Team at Constantine School:

If anyone is concerned about a child, they should contact one of the Safeguarding Team as soon as possible.
