Measuring in Maths 25 Jun 2014

Today we had to choose five objects and predict which could be thrown furthest. This involved estimating, measuring, reading scales, recording, a good throwing technique, converting units of measure and some analysing of results. We chose classroom objects as well as items from the PE cupboard. There was a high level of competition amongst some groups. What great outdoor learning showing collaboration, team work, integrity and accuracy for some.
