KS1 Trip to the Falmouth Art Gallery and Gyllingdune Gardens 28 May 2012

The whole of Key Stage 1 were lucky enough to go on a trip related to the Artist topic. Fal, Cober and Lerryn all went on different days and spent the morning in the Art Gallery where they looked at the work of John Dyer and painted their own watercolour using his personal style. All the children created some fantastic paintings which were entered into a competition.

In the afternoon, all three classes made their way over to the gardens where they were given a number of great activities, such as a quiz and observational drawings.

Every child had a great time and certainly learnt a lot about various artists, plants and the changable weather that Cornwall has to offer.

Below is a selection of photographs from the trip from the three different days.
