Kenwyn’s Trip To The Lizard National Nature Reserve 11 Jun 2012

On Tuesday 27th May Kenwyn class went to the Lizard National Nature Reserve to do a range of different activities including pond dipping and natural art. The pond dipping was very wet but we learnt an awful lot of information about the creatures that live in the pond. We found dragonfly lava, damsel flies, tadpoles, an adult newt and baby newts by the bucket load. We also made clay faces on the trees in two groups which were supposed to be imitations of Green Face the spirit that people long ago used to think protected them from the evil and after making them we swapped trees to try and find them all.
