IOS Camp 5 6 Jul 2017

Another spectacular day on camp. Today we visited St Agnes, arriving by a tripper boat called Sea King. We walked round the island and met the school children there (all 9 of them). We had lunch together then spent the rest of the day on Periglis Beach with them rock pooling, swimming and playing football on their Muga.

We visited St Agnes Church to enjoy the quaintness, have some time for reflection and view the beautiful windows that were made by Oriel Hicks – who we did our glass workshop with earlier in the week.

We had fresh, hot pasties for tea and then caught another tripper boat back to St Mary’s. After that an ice cream stop was necessary before the last, long walk back to camp.  Then we were in for a treat and an evening of entertainment and talents (as well as more birthday day cake).
