Helford Class Make John Dyer Inspired Paintings 5 Feb 2016

Mr Wild taught us art in Helford Class this afternoon. We looked at the artwork of local painter, John Dyer, and made our own paintings in his style.

First of all, we studied his work and thought about what was common to all his paintings: boats, sea, sky and seagulls. Then we designed our own picture and coloured it using oil pastels. Finally, we brushed water-based Brusho over our drawing to cover up the White spaces I between out oil pastel work.
