Delaware Egg Drop Challenge 22 Mar 2018

When on camp we were set the task of protecting an egg with the following materials so when it is dropped from a height it will not break: string, sellotape (no scissors!), straws and paper.

We had twenty minutes to protect our eggs in groups of 3. There were some interesting designs and some great collaborating. Once back at school we tested the eggs. They all survived a drop from 10cm. Then we progressed to 50cm and lost half the fleet. Five made it to the apparatus drop and two survived this. The final two winning designs were launched high into the air by Mrs G and Miss Bidgood from the top of the field climbing wall and would you believe that one survived?

Well done Ruby on your winning design.
