Constantine Kids’ Club 3 Mar 2011

Kids’ club at Constantine offers wrap around care for children aged between 4 and 13 years old in a safe environment and with enthusiastic caring staff. The breakfast club runs from 8am to school 8.55am and the afternoon session runs from 3.15pm until 6pm. Kids’ club opens everyday in the school term. There is a charge for the club and bills are sent out monthly. Children need to be booked in at the school office so that there is adequate staffing.

The children love coming to Kids’ club where our motto is ‘friendship and fun’. After school children have a snack and drink and then the children choose what they would like to do. We try to spend some time outside enjoying the fresh air, play games, climb on the apparatus or go in the playground and ride the didicars. After being outside we enjoy the facilities in the purpose built pre-school building and  sometimes we go into school and use the computer suite. Occasionally we watch appropiate DVDs or use the club’s playstation. Children can do their homework at the club and children who do not attend Constantine school are welcome too. Social interaction is one of the benefits of Kids’ club as the children all enjoy playing games together, whatever their ages. If you would like more information please come and talk to me, Rozelle Micklem at school, ask at the school office or ask for Ruth Davies at the pre-school.
