Collaborative learning in Tamar Class 6 Sep 2017

It was clear to see that last year’s focus on collaborative learning has made a big impact on Tamar’s ability to work collaboratively.

Children brainstormed their ideas about our term’s topic, and then distilled their ideas and added them to the middle section of a mind map.

Children set to work very quickly in randomly chosen groups. They communicated well, avoided conflict, listened to each other and worked with an orientation to goal.

It’s great to see so early in the school year that our children are flexing their learning muscles and applying what they have learned in their BLP ┬álessons.
