Black History in Lerryn and Helford 20 Oct 2015

For Diversity Week Lerryn have been looking at the beautiful skin colours around the world, learning about different houses in Thailand, Mongolia and Mali, in Asia and Africa. We then thought about their skin colours and why they are different, and tried to mix as many skin colours as we could. We added eyes, noses and mouths to bring them to life.

In Helford everyone is learning the violin. Miss Bidgood introduced the class to Joseph Emidy, a violinist who became the talk of Falmouth around 200 years ago. Check out their informative posters and find out more facts about him.
