Ancient Greece Day 12 Nov 2012

On Monday the 12th November Tamar and Kenwyn had a whole day learning about Ancient Greece. The activities were drama,  art, problem solving and dancing. In the problem solving, children had to find a way to make water go up hill. Amazingly, this was possible! At the end of the day we had to perform our plays about Greek myths. All the children enjoyed the whole day from the start to the end.

The best part for everyone was when we had our Greek feast!  Among the food delights were: feta cheese, dried fruit, passion fruit juice and traditional barley bread with olive oil. There was also grape juice and everyone pretended it was Greek wine because it was made from grapes.

It was a great day!
