WW2 History Workshops at Helston Museum 5 Mar 2018

Year 5 and 6 had a brilliant time at Helston Museum today, learning about life for evacuees in Cornwall during WW2.

They experienced a range of educational workshops including:

  • Mend and make do rag rug making
  • Handling and investigating artefacts
  • A Museum treasure trail
  • A maths lesson using £, s, d

The volunteers at Helston Museum were brilliant, as were our wonderful children.

Parents, thanks so much for sending your children to school today in such great wartime costumes.
